The Kawasaki ZX-14R has been one of the most anticipated motorcycles of the new model year, and it didn’t disappoint us once we got our hands on it. We first rolled our Golden Blaze Green testbike onto the Cycle World Dynojet dyno and it spun the drum to an impressive 192 rear-wheel horsepower, accompanied by an astounding 113 foot-pounds of torque. Even better is what the traction- and wheelie-controlled bike did with all that power at the strip: The 14R not only produced a record 9.47-second (corrected) sprint through the quarter-mile at 152.83 mph, but also hit 60 mph in just 2.6 sec.
