High-Bike Testcenter Paznaun

Planning a riding vacation in the Alps but can't afford an all-inclusive tour? You might want to check out High-Bike Testcenter Paznaun, a rental agency in the Tyrol region of Austria (just one hour from Innsbruck) that is stocked with 40 current-model-year motorcycles from BMW, Ducati, Husqvarna, KTM and Triumph.

The bikes can be rented from June through September, and very competitive pricing means you can explore the Alps on a different motorcycle each day. Prices range between 90 and 110 euros ($120 to $150) per day, depending on model, and that includes full comprehensive insurance.

Notable motorcycles include BMW's brand-new R1200GS and K1600GT; the Ducati Streetfighter 848, Diavel and Multistrada; Husqvarna Nuda 900; KTM 690 Duke and SM T; and Triumph Speed Triple and Tiger Explorer.

High-Bike, based in the town of Ischgl, provides a daypack and up to 14 suggested routes. Don't want to haul your riding gear to Europe? Apparel from Rukka (textile suits), Schuberth helmets and Daytona boots can be rented, too.
