Just three months after AMA Pro Racing approved the use of a race-only, Indian 750 twin engine for AMA Pro Flat Track competition, almost officially guaranteeing Indian’s intended return to racing, Cycle World’s Technical Editor Kevin Cameron was on a plane bound for Switzerland. There, he’d visit Polaris’ swissauto Powersports to talk with the team responsible for designing the engine, take a look at its internals, plus see and hear it run.
We've run multiple updates on the engine since then, each story detailing its specifications and advantageous in terms of size and weight. There are even pictures sprinkled in from our trip, some showing the engine internals spread out across a table and others the final product. But all with a story to tell.
Should you want a better look at those photos, or a look at the ones we weren't able to include in the various stories, we've put together this photo gallery, where you can check out even more photos from our days spent with the team from swissauto Powersports and alongside Indian's new race engine.
