Bold New Graphics (a.k.a. BNG) are typically applied to a model that goes unchanged in a given model year, but the Triumph Daytona 675 got a significant mechanical makeover for 2009, plus a sleeker restyled upper fairing. Makes this Daytona 675 SE all the more enticing, then, with the same awesome bump in engine output to a claimed 126 bhp, uprated suspension and decreased weight, accompanied by this very cool Pearl White bodywork and Sparkle Blue frame, subframe and swingarm. A blue pinstripe on the wheels finishes off the visual presentation.
"The Daytona 675 has received exceptional reviews for its performance and styling," said Jim Callahan, North American marketing manager for Triumph. "Now, Triumph has taken the bike's styling a step further with this incredible new color scheme. You absolutely have to see the Daytona 675 Special Edition in person to appreciate the way sunlight makes this bike shine."
Triumph plans to bring fewer than 350 of the SEs to North America, at an MSRP of $9999, a reasonable $200 up on the standard red or black versions of the Daytona.
