Question: Cycle World reader, Phil Meier, writes to say, "My Acura has 100,000-mile anti-freeze. Why not my motorcycle as well?"
Answer: I referred this question to Jon Seidel, a trusted source at Honda. Seidel came back at me with a simple answer: As long as the materials are aluminum and plastic, and the anti-freeze is ethylene glycol-based, there is no problem with using extended-life anti-freeze in the cooling system of the company's liquid-cooled motorcycles.
