Kawasaki Ninja H2 Dyno Test Video

Supercharged street-legal Kawasaki puts out almost 190 horsepower at the rear wheel!

Do yourself a favor: Crank up the volume and listen to Kawasaki's supercharged, short-stroke inline-4 roar as it spins the roller on the Cycle World Dynojet dyno. What do you hear? The sound of 189.8 horsepower and 91.2 pound-feet of torque being generated by a supercharged mill that propels this 502-lb. Kawasaki through the quarter-mile in 9.62 seconds (at 152.01 mph!) and on to a measured top speed of 183 mph. Makes us think: If the standard H2 performs this well, how will the track-only H2R—with more boost, a freer exhaust, and a lot more power—do on our dyno and at the track? We hope to find out soon!
