The Ducati XDiavel S is a drastic change from the cruiser norm—that’s apparent straight out of the box. The lines are so Ducati, hell the horsepower is so Ducati. And in their eyes, this bike is a true American cruiser. It has the low seat height, unarguably cruiser-esque lines, and forward foot controls but there are also a few parts of the ride that feel so far from what I would call “cruising.”
While parts of this bike truly read like a sportbike rider's off-target vision of a cruiser, it also gets the blood pumping in a way not a lot of cruisers do. Is it a true cruiser? If not, is that a bad thing? Check out the video and make the decision for yourself.
