The Triumph Bonneville has a rich history in the annals of the brand. First made popular on the Bonneville Salt Flats for which it is named, it later hit the silver screen—ridden and beloved by notable actors such as Marlon Brando, Steve McQueen, Clint Eastwood, and even more recently, Tom Cruise, Ewan McGregor, and David Beckham. The Triumph Bonneville T120 is the latest in the company’s great lineup of retro themed motorcycles with a modern edge and perfect for riders who love classic styling but want a little more power over the Triumph Street Twin.
The Bonneville T120 retains the charm and vintage appeal of its progenitors but almost everything on the motorcycle is new for 2016. Beginning with the six-speed, liquid cooled 1,200cc ‘High Torque’ engine, the Bonneville T120 produces 77.4 ft-lbs of torque at 3,100 rpm and 80 hp at 6,550 rpm. The updated Bonneville T120 features a throttle-by-wire fueling system, two ride modes, ABS, traction control, heated hand grips, torque assist control, spoked wheels, and a USB charging port under the seat.
The Triumph Bonneville T120 is priced at $11,500 and come in four colors: Jet Black, Cinder Red, Cranberry Red / Aluminium Silver with hand painted coach lines, Jet Black / Pure White.
“My second bike was a Bonnie. I love these things-- I can tell the sound of one a few blocks away. I think the Triumph Bonneville might be the single most iconic model of all time, and for good reason. It still manages to blend style and performance like it did back in the day.” Morgan Gales - Editor, Street Chopper Magazine
