The Triumph Rocket III Roadster still holds the title as the world’s largest displacement motorcycle and with that displacement comes a brutish amount of power and brawn that cannot be overlooked or underestimated. Its stance is muscular, and its gaze menacing. If there is any motorcycle on the market that could claim the Crown of the Power Cruiser, the Triumph Rocket III Roadster would hold the title and have no challengers.
The Triumph Rocket III Roadster incorporates a massive, liquid cooled, DOHC, 2.3L (2,300cc) in-line three-cylinder engine which is quite a sight. More remarkable is the whopping power output of 148 hp at 5,750 rpm and 163 ft-lbs at 2,750 rpm. The Triumph Rocket III transfers all the power to the rear wheel courtesy of a shaft drive. Stopping power up front comes courtesy of twin 320mm floating discs, Nissin four-piston fixed calipers and a single 316mm disc and two-piston Brembo caliper in the rear. ABS is standard.
The Triumph Rocket III Roadster is priced starting at $15,500 and comes in two colors: Jet Black or Phantom Black.
