The Triumph Street Cup is bred for racing through the urban landscape. Based on the Street Twin platform, the Street Cup silhouette resembles the old Triumph Thruxton’s from 2006-2014 and with minor tweaks, the Street Cup manages to appear and behave like a sportier and more aggressive version of the Street Twin.
The Triumph Street Cup is powered by the same engine in the Street Twin, Triumph’s new liquid cooled 900cc ‘high torque’ 8-valve parallel twin engine which produces 52.2 hp at 6,120 rpm and 57 ft-lb of torque at 3,070 rpm. A 30mm rise in seat height and minor increase in suspension adds to a sportier stance as does the clubman handlebars.
Additional features include ABS, Traction Control, throttle-by-wire fueling, slip-assist clutch, cast alloy wheels, upswept exhaust, rear set footpegs, and a USB charging socket for electronic devices.
The Triumph Street Cup is priced at $10,500 and comes in 2 colors: Jet Black / Silver Ice and Racing Yellow / Silver Ice.
