KTM's "Ready to Race"
KTM’s no-apologies “Ready to Race” mantra is essentially true. The Austrian company has long committed to building competition-spec motorcycles for serious riders, and it has been rewarded with numerous off-road, motocross, and supercross championships. The bikes don’t follow the Japanese pack either, as many of the dirt models feature chrome-moly steel frames instead of going to aluminum. Both enduro and motocross models come in two- and four-stroke varieties, with much of the lineup receiving important upgrades. But there’s more to the KTM motorcycle range than just knobbies. KTM offers no fewer than six "travel" models: 1290 Super Adventure R, 1290 Super Adventure S, 1090 Adventure R, 790 Adventure R, 790 Adventure, and 690 Enduro R, plus the hard-saddlebag-equipped 1290 Super Duke GT. So take a few minutes and get to know all the latest KTM street models, including the entry-level RC390 and 390 Duke.
