Husqvarna has announced details on its 2019 TE and FE models. The off-road and dual-sport bikes all feature suspension changes and upgraded batteries, and the big news is the TE 300i transfer port-injected (TPI) bike is coming to the US for the first time in 2019, whereas only the TE 250i was imported into the US last year.
All of the 2019 TE and FE models—the TE 150, TE 250i, TE 300i, FE 250, FE 350, FE 450, and FE 501—are equipped with a new lithium-ion battery, and revised settings in the WP Xplor 48 fork and WP shock intended to provide better damping characteristics.
The TE 250i and TE 300i fuel-injected bikes feature a few changes for 2019 including a new throttle assembly and a new engine cover. The TE 150 carbureted machine’s cylinder has a new machined finish to the upper edge of the main exhaust port that is designed to improve bottom-end torque. It also has a new diaphragm steel (DS) clutch that enables the clutch cover width to be reduced by 10mm (0.4 inch).
