How Much Power Does the 2025 Honda Rebel 1100T Make?

Measuring max power output from Honda’s 1083cc twin on the Cycle World dyno.

Honda revamped its cruiser line in 2017 with the Rebel 300 and Rebel 500. A few years later, Honda debuted the Rebel 1100. The Rebel 1100 is available in three trims: standard, DCT, and DCT SE. The 2025 Rebel 1100T is available in manual or DCT and utilizes the same platform as the base-model Rebel 1100, but includes a front fairing and hard saddlebags.

The Rebel lineup is another great example of modern platform sharing. The entry-level Rebel 300 utilizes the same engine as the CB300R and CBR300R. The Rebel 500 utilizes the same engine as the CB500F, NX500, SCL500, and CBR500R. The flagship Rebel 1100 utilizes the same powerplant as the Africa Twin and the newly announced NT1100.

Powering the Honda Rebel 1100T is a 1083cc liquid-cooled SOHC parallel twin that was originally introduced in the Africa Twin. An adjustable electronics suite and ride-by-wire system provide access to three preset ride modes (Standard, Sport, Rain), two customizable ride modes, switchable traction control, and cruise control. The chassis consists of a steel-tube trellis frame, 43mm telescopic fork, dual Showa shocks, an 18-inch front wheel, a 16-inch rear wheel, and a single 330mm disc with a radial-mount four-piston caliper up front with a 256mm disc and single-piston caliper out back.

The Rebel lineup is well-rounded and offers a bike for everyone, starting with the friendly and approachable Rebel 300 to the premier Rebel 1100, allowing riders to move up through the category and keep “Ridin’ Red.

2025 Honda Rebel 1100T Dyno Chart.Robert Martin

Before hitting our in-house Dynojet 250i dynamometer, the Rebel 1100T weighed 527 pounds on our automotive scales. On the Cycle World dyno, the 2025 Honda Rebel 1100T produced 78.9 hp at 7220 rpm and 66.0 lb.-ft. of torque at 4940 rpm. For reference, the 2024 Harley-Davidson Low Rider S produced 93 hp and 114.8 lb.-ft. of torque. Granted, the Harley has a larger engine and costs nearly $10,000 more. Honda’s Rebel 1100T provides a linear power delivery, gobs of low-end torque, and the quick-revving nature of a liquid-cooled parallel twin. The Rebel 1100T produces less peak power than most large-displacement American cruisers, but makes up for it with Honda reliability, an adjustable electronics suite, a 5-inch TFT display, and an accessible MSRP of $10,799.
