Overview

For 2025 Honda has given a refresh to nearly every full-size dirt bike in the CRF line, including its flagship 250cc motocrosser, the CRF250R. Standing on the success of the 2023 AMA Pro Motocross Championship, and both regions of the AMA Supercross 250SX Championships, the CRF250R receives improvements aimed at keeping it on top of the ultracompetitive quarter-liter ranks. Onboard technology takes a step forward with the 2025 Honda CRF250R as it receives a new engine map switch offering Honda Selectable Torque Control settings, the same as its bigger sibling, the CRF450R. A refreshed twin-spar aluminum frame, revised Showa suspension settings, improved braking power, and new ECU maps deliver a new level of performance designed to keep the mighty Honda on top in the pro racing ranks.

Fast-revving power output, fully adjustable suspension, light weight, and nimble handling characteristics crafted through decades of motocross racing experience by the factory Honda team mean the Honda CRF250R is one of the most advanced MX dirt bikes available on the market today. Designed for closed-course competition, this motocross bike is ideal for experienced racers as well as those looking to sharpen their skill and advance in the competitive motocross ranks of amateur and professional racing.
