Adventure riding can be an intimidating segment of the sport to get into, with a lot of the options on the market having high-horsepower, a lot of weight, and tall seat heights. But Honda has a much easier gateway into that side of riding in the CRF300L Rally. Based on the CRF300L dual sport machine, the Rally version offers the rider a bit more protection for the road in the form of a rally-style windscreen.
The CRF300L Rally is powered by a 286cc single-cylinder engine, which gives the bike the ability to tackle not only trails, but urban rides and even highways. With a large 3.4-gallon fuel tank and excellent mileage, Honda claims the bike’s range is capable of more than 250 miles per fill up.
The rally-style windscreen provides much more protection than a standard dual sport, which makes the bike more enjoyable when covering miles between dirt roads. Showa suspension provides 10.2 inches of travel at the front and 10.2 inches at the rear. Seat height measures 35.2 inches, while the fully fueled weight is a claimed 331 pounds. With 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel/tire sizes, a large selection of off-road or dual sport rubber is available.
The 2024 CRF300L Rally is available without ABS for $6,199, or with ABS for $6,499.
