2025 Honda CRF450R

Honda’s SX/MX championship-winning flagship is back with heavy revisions.

Honda’s CRF450R motocrosser is heavily revised for 2025, with many of its tweaks and upgrades coming directly from factory Honda HRC racing feedback.Honda

Overview

It’s hard to justify messing with a good thing, but it’s even harder to remain on top without continuing to evolve. Honda spent years clawing its way back to the top of AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross, and after dominating for two seasons, Big Red has come out with a heavily revised CRF450R for 2025. An all-new main frame, revised suspension, updated linkage, triple clamps, and front axle offer a revised handling feel, while the redesigned airbox, new exhaust, and revised ECU settings fine-tune the engine character. The 2025 Honda CRF450R is already winning shootouts, including the 2025 Dirt Rider 450 Motocross Bike Comparison Test, but we have yet to see if the mighty CRF will once again dominate in 2025 Supercross and Motocross.

Like all modern 450cc four-stroke motocross dirt bikes, the CRF450R is a very powerful and lightweight machine purpose-built for closed-course MX racing. High-performance suspension is fully adjustable to suit rider preference while onboard electronics such as traction control options and multiple engine map settings also allow the rider to fine-tune power output.

Honda’s CRF450F is the base platform for Honda’s factory racing efforts and, even in stock form, is an incredibly potent machine.Honda
