The Tracer 900 GT is Yamaha's three-cylinder sport-tourer, based upon the same platform as the MT-09 naked. The Tracer name has always been used in European markets, but here in North America, it was dubbed the FJ-09. For 2019 it was renamed to match Yamaha's worldwide lineup. This sport-tourer is powered by an 847cc inline-triple powerplant and tips the Cycle World scales at 504 pounds fully fueled with bags. The GT version comes standard with a quickshifter, heated grips, cruise control, luggage, and a TFT dash.
Cycle World ran the Tracer 900 GT on its in-house dyno to record horsepower and torque measurements. The Yamaha produced 104.9 hp at 9,930 rpm and 59.8 pound-feet of torque at 8,340 rpm.
