The 150cc two-stroke could be considered the exotic member of the motocross family. It comes and goes from the KTM lineup, but is always a treat when it once again joins the fray, like it has for 2025. Bored and slightly stroked from its 125 SX sibling, the mighty KTM 150 SX churns out more peak power and a bit more low-end torque, but retains its lightweight handling that makes it so ideal for riders transitioning to the full-size ranks.
Due to its size increase, the 150 SX is often not allowed to compete in the 125cc class, but when displacement isn’t a factor, such as in the age-determined ranks of vet racing, the KTM 150 SX makes perfect sense. With the muscle to rival 250 four-strokes and the lightweight capability to go the distance, the 150 SX has a lot to offer.
For 2025, the KTM 150 SX features the same updated frame and suspension settings as the rest of the SX and SX-F line. The 150 SX also offers WP Xact 48mm air fork, electric start, Kehin EFI with throttle body injection (TBI), an engine map switch, and Brembo clutch and brake hydraulics.
The 2025 KTM 150 SX is available in orange for $8,449.
