MotoAmerica is headed to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca on California's Central Coast this weekend, July 7-9, for Round 6 of the series, the Honda Championship of the Monterey Peninsula.
After winning both Motul Superbike races two weeks ago at Utah Motorsports Campus, Toni Elias holds a 30-point advantage in the premier class over Yoshimura Suzuki teammate Roger Hayden. Defending champ Cameron Beaubier is third in the standings, 48 points behind Elias.
Here, photographer Brian J. Nelson provides a look back at the action from Round 5 at UMC. At Mazda Raceway, MotoAmerica television partner beIN SPORTS will cover all five classes—Superbike, Superstock 1000, Supersport, Superstock 600, and the entry-level KTM RC Cup. Live timing is available HERE.
