Two Brothers Racing sponsored athlete Michael Gilbert earns himself a win for Round 4 of MOTOAMERICA road racing located at Virginia International Raceway.

Piloting his Two Brothers backed SuperStock 600 Yamaha R6 equipped with the S1R Aluminum Black Series exhaust, Michael put the hammer down on the competition. Starting off the weekend with a bang Michael showed everyone he meant business when he snatched the pole position qualifying first in the highly talented field of racers. “Michael Gilbert is one of our best and brightest racers in 2016 and we couldn’t be happier with his performance thus far” states Mark Jacobs Two Brothers Sales Manager.

Race day meant the pressure was on for this young racer as he found himself at the front of the pack for one of the largest classes of the weekend due to a combination of the SuperSport and SuperStock riders. The green flag dropped and Michael did what he does best as he started to lay down blistering fast laps on the difficult VIR track. Keeping his composure with nerves of steel Michael battled it out all the way to the end, coming across the finish line in 1st place securing a win and placing him in 6th place overall on the 2016 season.
