First released in 2020, the MV Agusta Rush 1000 is the result of taking the same design elements that made the 800cc Dragster such a hit, and applying it to the larger Brutale. A fat, 200-size tire was already out back on the stock Brutale, so that part is handled; but to further accentuate the rear end, the 17 x 6.00-inch rear wheel is a CNC-machined aluminum piece with a carbon fiber cover over the inside portion that MV Agusta claims helps with aerodynamics. The stubby rear subframe and passenger seat as well as the side exit exhausts are also unique to the Rush, and a specially designed headlight and spoke front wheel further distinguish it from its Brutale sibling.
Large aerodynamic winglets adorn each side of the bike, although MV isn’t claiming any downforce numbers for them. MotoGP tech is also seen on features like the Rush’s eight-level traction and “launch control” systems, meant to help manage the bike’s finger-snapping acceleration and starts. The full suite of electronics also includes an up/down quickshifter for clutch-free changes, and the Rush gets the Öhlins EC suspension units adopted from the Brutale 1000 RR along with the Brembo Stylema calipers and Bosch 9 Plus Race ABS. There are plenty of CNC-machined aluminum, titanium, and carbon fiber elements sprinkled around to help drop the Rush 1000′s weight to a claimed 405 pounds dry. And the round LED front headlight features cornering lights.
As before with previous years, the Rush 1000 will be limited to 300 production units for 2024, so if you’re interested, you’d better act fast.
The 2024 MV Agusta Rush 1000 is available in Rosso Mamba 2.0/Nero Intensivo for $50,098.
