Overview

Considered by Royal Enfield to be the “cornerstone of its 123-year history as one of the company’s earliest and most popular bikes,” the iconic Bullet 350 finally makes its way to North American shores in 2024. The very first Bullet 350 was manufactured in 1901 by the Enfield Cycle Company then based in Redditch, Worcestershire, in the UK, and Royal Enfield lays claim with it to be the “longest continuously produced motorcycle in the world.” Don’t assume that the Bullet 350 is nothing more than a time warp from that time, though, as the updated charismatic 349cc SOHC fuel-injected air/oil-cooled four-stroke single from the latest Meteor, Hunter, and Classic 350 models provides accessible and smooth power.

The same new twin-downtube steel cradle frame as the Hunter 350 carries over to Bullet 350, providing sure-footed handling in any riding situation, with a 19-inch front tire and 18-inch rear keeping stability at a premium. A 41mm nonadjustable conventional fork sits up front, with spring-preload-adjustable twin shocks in the rear. Braking is handled by a single 300mm disc and twin-piston sliding caliper up front, with a single 270mm disc/single-piston slider caliper in the rear. The instrument panel has been updated from the previous Bullet’s cluster, with an analog speedometer backed up by a small digital LCD panel providing a fuel gauge, clock, two tripmeters, and odometer.
