Danny Eslick has landed a full-time gig in the MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Championship for 2016 with the TOBC Racing Yamaha squad. The multi-time AMA champ will compete in the MotoAmerica Superstock 1000 class with his trademark number 69 on the TOBC-liveried Yamaha R1.

“I’m very excited to be with the TOBC racing crew this year, and to jump on the proven Yamaha R1 in MotoAmerica Superstock 1000,” Eslick said. “Also, I'm really pumped to be part of the Yamaha racing family.”

A fan favorite for his wheelies and powerslides, Eslick brings three AMA National titles to the table – 2011 AMA Vance & Hines Harley Davidson, 2009 and 2010 Daytona Sportbike – as well as back-to-back Daytona 200 wins, the second of which he won for the TOBC squad last year in an epic final draft across the line to beat Wheels in Motion/MotoSport.com/Meen Yamaha’s Josh Herrin.

Eslick and his former rival Herrin will go head to head once again this season for top honors in the Superstock 1000 class.

Also joining TOBC racing/Yamaha for 2016 is Curtis Murray, who will race a Yamaha R6 in MotoAmerica’s Superstock 600 class. Curtis formerly competed in WERA road racing events and has also raced in AMA Pro Racing’s Supersport class, as well as the 2015 MotoAmerica Superstock 600 Championship.
