The Multistrada 950 is claimed to bring a combination of comfort, style, and superior performance in addition to Ducati's well-known technology and capabilities. This addition to the family will be an approachable, comfortable, and versatile bike that will be equipped with the Testastretta 937cc engine and a 19-inch front wheel for comfortable balance for long-distance on/off-road touring, excellent city riding and daily commuting. Comfort while riding aboard the Multistrada 950 is also apparent with its low fuel consumption, affordable ownership costs, and an upright seating position. The L-Twin engine produces 113 horsepower and 71 pound-feet of torque and is coupled with a 6-speed transmission and standard ABS, traction control and Ducati's four distinct riding modes.

Accessories for the current Multistrada models (including the Multistrada 1200 S, Multistrada 1200 Enduro, and Multistrada 1200 S Pikes Peak) will be available for the new Multistrada 950. Each accessory is designed to enhance each of the distinct Multistrada riding modes. For a more touring-styled ride you can choose from the color-matched panniers, center stand, and heated grips. For Sport choose Ducati's performance exhaust by Temignoni, billet aluminum frame plugs, and billet aluminum front brake reservoir cap. The Urban riding mode pairs well with the top case, tank bag, and USB hub to charge electronic devices. Finally, the Enduro ride mode isn't complete without the supplementary LED driving lights, engine crash bars, aluminum radiator guard, aluminum sump guard, off-road pegs, tubeless spoked wheels, and aluminum panniers by Touratech.
