The fairing is handcrafted from metal; the white/yellow/black color scheme is classic Yamaha; the build was completed at the end of 2015 and in part celebrates 30 years of the VMax and 60 years of Yamaha. The pain was airbrushed and then gloss varnished in-house by the builders.Courtesy of Yamaha

Custom-made spoke wheels are 3.5 x 18 front and 6.0 x 18 rear, with a 120/70-18 front Dunlop tire and the Mickey Thompson rear tire.Courtesy of Yamaha

The standard VMax fuel tank is located under the seat, and the Yard Built VMax features a false fuel tank (handcrafted from sheet metal), just as the standard VMax does. The seat itself as handmade leather.Courtesy of Yamaha
