2014 BMW S 1000 RR and Honda CBR1000RR on the Dyno

The October issue of the magazine includes a comparison test of the updated 2014 Honda CBR1000RR and the 2014 BMW S 1000 RR, the winner of our last literbike comparison test. As part of the test, we ran both bikes on our dyno, recording torque and horsepower. Check out the dyno chart below, and scroll through the gallery above to see some action shots from the test. It may look like a lopsided comparison judging from the dyno chart alone, but that does not tell the full story. Look for that in the October issue of the magazine, which goes on sale officially next week.
