There's no denying the impact of the Suzuki GSX-R on sportbikes and the motorcycle marketplace in general. The ground-breaking machine introduced in 1985 has continued to evolve and improve as new technological developments learned on the racetrack were quickly utilized on future generations of GSX-Rs.
In Part 2 of the "Suzuki GSX-R: 30 Years of Performance" video series, the story of GSX-R development from 2000 to the present day through the eyes of Suzuki's engineers is chronicled, as the GSX-R750, and then the GSX-R1000 and GSX-R600 continued to dominate the sportbike scene and racing championships. The video then ultimately leads up to the present day Team Suzuki Ecstar GSX-RR MotoGP racing effort.
