For the die-hard riders who prefer the stability that three-wheelers provide—or have had health concerns that motivate the decision—the 2020 Harley-Davidson Freewheeler is a great option to enjoy the open road. The Freewheeler boasts ample power, spinning the rear wheels via its Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine, and comes to a stop with Brembo Reflex brakes and standard ABS. It is not lightweight at a claimed 1,118 pounds, but at least it’s unlikely to tip over. The slash-cut mufflers, mini ape handlebars, and bobtail fenders accent the Freewheeler with some style.
The Harley-Davidson Freewheeler was introduced in 2015. It was and still is the answer to the potential trike buyer’s requests for something smaller and less intimidating than the Tri Glide. If you are looking for the stability of three wheels a 2020 Can-Am Spyder RT or RT Limited would be the Freewheeler’s competition as are the trike offerings from Boss Hoss Cycles.
This Harley-Davidson trike is equipped with Trike-specific Reflex Defensive Rider Systems (RDRS) with Cornering Enhanced Electronic Linked Braking (C-ELB), ABS (C-ABS), Traction Control System (C-TCS), and Drag-Torque Slip Control System (C-DSCS).
