Based on the platform seen in the Zero FX, the FXS puts a supermoto spin on the electric dual sport. Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tires are paired with Showa suspension to offer superb maneuverability over the road surfaces, and within the aluminum frame lies the air-cooled Interior Permanent Magnet motor juiced by Zero’s ZF3.6 modular battery. The claimed 251-pound weight can be flicked down the road or around the track in supermoto fashion. Just recharge at the end of the day so you will be ready for another go.
The Zero FXS is one of the only electric supermotos on the market, but if you were to look into other gas-powered options you would find the Aprilia Dorsoduro, Ducati Hypermotard, KTM 690 SMC-R, and Husqvarna 701 Supermoto.
New colors and graphics were the theme for this year’s changes from Zero, but all models also received an upgraded level of connectivity with Zero’s updated app.
