Ducati has just hosted its first round of seven “Episodes,” events with the purpose of announcing and promoting special editions for 2023. This first episode was held at the Misano racetrack in conjunction with the San Marino Grand Prix. Giulio Fabbri, Ducati’s head of product communication, along with Andrea Ferraresi, Ducati’s styling department manager, and Mitja Borkert, Lamborghini’s head of design, unveiled the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini. This limited-production model is the latest collaboration between the celebrated motorcycle maker and the supercar marque; the two are in fact located not more than 20 miles apart in the heart of what’s known as Italy’s Motor Valley, and both belong to the Audi Group.

Ducati and Lamborghini first joined forces about three years ago to create the Ducati-Lamborghini Diavel 1260, an exclusive limited-edition power cruiser that sold out in mere weeks. The goal with the Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini is to repeat that success. The bike will have a manufacturing run of 630 numbered units, plus 63 more; the number celebrates Ducati-Lenovo factory team rider Francesco Bagnaia, whose racing number is 63. These will be Speciale Clienti motorcycles, meaning buyers will be able to customize the bikes by choosing everything from brake caliper color to seat style.

The concept is to link the Streetfighter V4 to the latest and hottest version of the Lamborghini Huracán STO, primarily through an exclusive color scheme based on Verde Citrea metallic green with accents of Arancio Dac orange; the main cosmetic feature is a large number “63″ on the side of the tank.

The technical heart of this special edition is based on the standard Streetfighter V4, powered by Ducati’s 208 hp, 1,103cc V-4 equipped with a special titanium Akrapovič exhaust system and a Superbike-style dry clutch with an open carbon fiber cover. The chassis exploits the strong construction of the engine as a stressed element, associated with the pyramidal aluminum structure that locates the steering head at its top.

Suspension consists of electronically managed Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 active units, front and rear. Braking system is by Brembo in the form of a front disc brake based on twin 330mm rotors and Stylema Brembo four-piston calipers, which also get the Arancio Dac orange treatment. Curb weight is a reported 436 pounds.

The Lamborghini inspiration goes well beyond the paint scheme and incorporates a number of styling elements, like cooling air intakes at the front, additional hot-air discharge louvers, all in carbon fiber in place of the usual plastic pieces.

The Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini will go on sale next April 2023 and each unit will be identified by a numbered tag. Of the 630 units, 63 will be even more exclusive units, reserved for Lamborghini clients, and will come in any of the Lamborghini Huracán range of colors and featuring more exclusive components.

Deliveries in the US will begin in May 2023. United States pricing for the Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini will begin at an MSRP of $68,000, with the Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini Speciale Clienti being $83,000.
