Current Honda GL 1800 Gold Wing customers will be in a position to integrate Android Auto to the connectivity system of their motorcycle for Android 5.0 and higher smartphones. The related update to the bike software will be available in mid-June 2020.

Customer response was very positive and now Honda is going one step further offering all current Gold Wing owners owning an Android-capable smartphone an upgrade to easily enjoy music, media, and messaging apps. Thanks to the simplified voice interface provided by the connection with a Bluetooth headset to Google Assistant, riders can safely stay focused on the road while controlling these functions.
