As the sport-touring segment continues to once again build momentum, the 2024 Suzuki GSX-S1000GT and GSX-S1000GT+ joined the category in 2022 by fusing the power and agility of a superbike with the comfort and practicality needed for long-distance rides.
Built around the potent 999cc inline-four engine derived from the GSX-R1000, these models are designed to provide thrilling performance while keeping riders comfortable during extended journeys. We measured just over 135 hp at 10,360 rpm and 73.15 lb.-ft. of torque at 9,190 rpm on the CW dyno—more than enough for sport-touring two-up!
The GSX-S1000GT offers a strong base with all the essential touring features, while the GSX-S1000GT+ adds integrated 26-liter side cases color-matched to the bike. These are capable of carrying a full-face helmet and can be removed in just seconds. A 2.75-inch-taller screen (nonadjustable) that arches forward for reduced airflow to the rider is available at no extra cost. Both models feature a sleek, aerodynamic design, an upright riding position, and advanced electronics, including traction control, cruise control, and selectable riding modes, ensuring a customizable ride experience.
Whether you’re carving through mountain roads or cruising along the open highway, the GSX-S1000GT and GSX-S1000GT+ are built to deliver touring comfort with Suzuki’s legendary sportbike performance.
Available only in Glass Sparkle Black, the 2024 Suzuki GSX-S1000GT wears a $13,499 price tag. Meanwhile, the 2024 Suzuki GSX-S1000GT+ costs $14,199, is available in Candy Daring Red or Glass Sparkle Black, and includes integrated hard saddlebags and additional touring features.
