The 2024 Suzuki GSX-S1000GX+ redefines the brand’s crossover category by combining the exhilarating performance of a superbike with the comfort and practicality of a long-distance tourer. Built on the powerful foundation of the GSX-S1000, the GX+ model adds features that make it ideal for extended rides, including enhanced aerodynamics, increased fuel capacity, and advanced electronics such as Suzuki Advanced Electronic Suspension (SAES) and Suzuki Road Adaptive Stabilization (SRAS) system. The bike is a direct assault on the Yamaha Tracer 9 GT+ and the similarly spec’d Kawasaki Versys 1000 SE LT+.
At the soul of the GSX-S1000GX+ is a 999cc inline-four engine that offers just over 150 claimed horsepower at 11,300 rpm and torque across the rev range, making it just as comfortable carving up canyon roads as it is cruising on the highway. Where the GSX-S1000GX+ truly sticks out among others in the lineup is in the electronics department. The bike is equipped with a multifaceted electronic suspension system, cornering traction control, cornering ABS, and “smart” cruise control. That technology comes alongside more traditional systems, like power modes, Suzuki’s Easy Start System, Low RPM Assist, and a bidirectional quickshifter.
Add in its upright riding position, adjustable windscreen, and spacious saddlebags, and the GSX-S1000GX+ is set to keep riders comfortable over long distances without compromising on the thrilling performance Suzuki is known for.
The 2024 Suzuki GSX-S1000GX+ is available in one color for the USA: Pearl Matte Shadow Green. The MSRP is set for $18,499.
