Suzuki’s V-Strom lineup covers everything from the do-it-all V-Strom 650 to the long-legged V-Strom 1050DE Adventure, with the V-Strom 800 family sitting in the middle. That brings the total number of V-Strom variants to 12, ensuring there’s a bike for every type of adventure rider. 

Engine configurations vary between models, the 650 and 1050 using a V-twin layout similar to what inspired the V-Strom name, and the 800s a spectacularly fun parallel-twin.

Designed to hit a sweet spot of value and capability, Suzuki’s V-Strom motorcycles are great all-around adventure-touring machines that, while not always as aggressive on the dirt side of things as the competition, will gladly escort you down roads less traveled. The 2024 Suzuki V-Strom 800DE and V-Strom 800DE Adventure take things a step further than the 650 and 1050 models, and are considered the most dirt-capable adventure-touring motorcycles in Suzuki’s lineup.
